WHO IS DAD?

Baap Kon hai? The title is itself embarrassing.
When we think about father/Dad/papa/pitaji, we have lots of questions that Arises in our head.               " Whi jo maarta hai?, dantata hai? Khi jane se mna krta hai? Kvi sath baith kr gappe nhi ladata ,hmesa kam ki hi batein krta hai? "

These are the few questions we think when we imagine our Dad.

But luckily the above thought and question don't match with me when I imagine my Dad.

He never ever asked about my marks or grades, He never asked me with whom I hang out, with whom I meet, with whom do I party.

He only asked that do I have money? Are you happy and comfortable wherever you are?
He is like a provider. He is like a magician or JIN OF ALLADIN'S CHIRAG who fulfills every desire and wishes.

I have never heard of telling him no to anyone of my brother or sister.

The best and inspiring part of my dad is, He chose the dirtiest things to do which I and my younger brother avoid doing .the job of throwing garbage. he always wakes up at 6:00am and goes to throw the dustbin at the far most point of my muhallah to throw the garbage in municipal's dustbins.

After coming from there, he gets fresh and after bathing, he knocks each one of our brothers & sister's doors.

While knocking on my elder brothers(who is Ph.D. in chemistry from CBNU SOUTH KOREA) door he usually says " YHI TUM SCIENTIST BANEGA", ITNA DER TAK KON SOTA HAI. UTHO.

While knocking on my door," YHI TUM ENGINEER BANOGE, SARA DUNIYA KB KA SOKAR UTH GYA TUM AVI TK SOYE HUYE HO. UTHO.

While knocking on my younger brother's door, He usually says," YHI VIDYARTHI KA LAKSHAN  HAI, SURAJ KHA KA KHA CHALA GYA " TUM AVI TK SOYA HUA HAI. UTHO.

While knocking on my sister's door, he usually says, YHI TUM DAROGA BANEGI, DESH KI RAKSHA KAREGI, JO JAGA SO PAYA, JO SOYA SO KHOYA, UTHO JALDI.

He is like a perfect reminder of our goals and dreams, he reminds us of our dream daily. He forces our minds to think about our dream or our goals daily.

No matter how many tough days you are going through, if u think about your goals, if you remind your goals daily, one day you will surely conquer that.

Whether it is raining, it's hot, it's shivering cold, he never misses his office. Only his outfits changes according to the season. Raincoat in the rainy season, kurta - pajama in summer and black thick jacket in winter.

After returning from his office, and before having dinner, he checks all of us, whether all the family members are present or not, if anyone is outside, he tells mom to call him/her and tell her to ask him, when will he/she return.
If anyone is out of the town he tells mom to call them and he usually listens to our conversation on speaker with mom. He talks with us if we have any issues or if we are in any problem. A lot of stupid things we discuss with mom but we never involve fathers in unuseful conversation.

Why am I talking so much about father today?
I have never done that. Lots of you guys have never done that.

I am talking about him because after returning from a one week trip from Mumbai.i have encountered him at the hall while going in my room. He saw me and put a towel at his mouth he took u-turn towards his room. This behavior was very strange to me. I went to my room and started thinking that maybe I am coming from Mumbai and dad thought that I might be a carrier of COVID-19, that's why he returned towards his room without asking anything. Soon after getting fresh and having some food. I have heard some continuous coughing sounds from my father's room.
I asked my younger brother about that sound, he told me that father is ill, He is suffering from a dry cough and fever. He told that he went to the doctor's. The doctor told him that, there is nothing serious about my dad, don't worry. He will be fine soon.

After hearing that, I started rewinding the situation of encountering with my father, after thinking a lot I have realized that he was not protecting himself from me but he is protecting me from him because he was ill. and cough is communicable while talking. I was started dreaming worst scenario, started thinking lots of thing like:-

what will happen if he is suffering from some serious disease?
If he is suffering from the corona?

He has sugar problems and Blood pressure issues too and I have heard and learned that if anyone has a sugar problem and if he is suffering from corona, there are very few chances of his survival.

I was started imagining that if accidentally I am the carrier of this deadly virus, then I will regret my whole life for my Mumbai journey.

I was started imagining that if any one of my family members got hurt by this coronavirus I will join the army and attack on china.

Lots of things are coming in my mind.
I love my dad but I have never expressed that, I have not even a single pic with my dad.

There are a lot of things I never tell my dad. How thankful I am, for having such an amazing father. this is not my problem alone. this may be the problem of yours too. I have some friends who don't talk with their father for months.

We always share our feelings with mom, always talk with mom in need but while talking with dad,we are a little bit cautious. But they are lovable, caring too. like our moms.
They are like coconut. "Bahar se sakht, andar se narm".

Today I got his report, he is COVID-19 Negative.
Finally, I am happy that I was wrong. Sometimes we imagine more. thinking about the separation from your loved ones is more painful than the real separation.

Love from your beloved may come and go, the only love which is permanent in this world is love from parents, which is unconditional.
